One-stop power quality compensation scheme of 5%THDi, 0.99PF.


Safe and no resonance reactive compensation technology

Large input of nonlinear load produces a large amount of harmonic inside the system, which leads to the electric system become more complicated and increases the potential risk. Sparrow - Sinexcel ASVG products inherit the advantages of current source products SVG and add harmonic suppression function at the same time. Sparrow - Sinexcel ASVG products have no harmonics, which can keep safe and stable operating condition for a long time..


A newly reactive compensation products of complete control type

ASVG has the advantages of two-way compensation of rated capacity and sensibility, harmonic compensation function, 10MS quick response speed, good voltage support, mean time between failure (MTBF) more than 100,000 hours, compensation capacity equaling to installed capacity, etc. comparing with traditional low voltage reactive compensation device.

Intelligent FFT

Breakthroughs in classic algorithms of the industry

  • After the active power filter is started, the active power filter automatically adapts to the impedance characteristics of the power distribution system and then sends out offset currents in an increasing pattern like ascending a flight of stairs through the neural network algorithm. Within 5 minutes, it can compensate the rated capacity or the required compensation capacity of the system.
  • If a resonance point is found in a certain harmonic current, the active power filter should stop that harmonic compensation and use the capacity instead to compensate other harmonic currents where no resonance is found, so as to achieve real-time stable system with places that are without resonance and the compensation can reach THDi ≤5%.

Resonance monitoring

A full time security stability

Monitor the system impedance in real time, and once resonance is found, the active power filter will switch off automatically to stop outputting offset currents. If after 15 seconds, the situation of system impedance has changed, then the active power filter should be put back into operation for compensation. If resonance takes place for 3 times within 5 minutes, then the active power filter will automatically switch off for readjustment.


Temperature monitoring

Detection of the resonance guarantee stable multiple techniques

Monitor in real time ABC three-phase IGBT and the heating value of inductance temperature. When resonance occurs in the system or the temperature gets too high, the system will send out over-temperature alarm and will automatically switch off to stop compensation.


Adaptation to extreme voltage conditions

The application needs of different industries are fully considered and the products can work within a voltage operating range of -40%~20%, and they can also adapt to extreme voltage conditions.

  • Complete protection functions to ensure that power supply and distribution systems and other equipments in these systems will not be influenced in normal operating conditions and abnormal operating conditions.

Sparrow - Sinexcel ASVG series products adopt DSP full digital control system, which can immediately respond the load changes and has no overcompensation and undercompensation as well as continuously adjusting compensation dosage automatically.

  • Through data line or cable can also communicate with computer. Install special background monitoring software in computer terminal can realize the remote operation and control of active power filter.

Products adopt latest IGBT technology. The highest switching frequency can reach to 35KHz. Ensure quick response and minimum thermal loss as well as electric energy loss at the same time.
