Assistant Manager – EHS & Sustainability

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Assistant Manager – EHS & Sustainability to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in EHS and sustainability consulting, with a strong understanding of industry standards, client engagement, and regulatory compliance. This role involves advising clients on EHS practices, managing projects, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

EHS:

•  Provide expert EHS consulting services to clients across various industries, ensuring their operations comply with relevant EHS regulations and best practices.
•  Provide expertise in risk assessments (HIRA), HAZOP studies, and incident investigations for client projects. · Provide tailored EHS management systems framework to software team.

Sustainability:

• Guide clients in Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting, focusing on regulatory compliance and sustainability goals.
• Provide expertise in Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) to clients seeking enhanced sustainability reporting and compliance.

Legal Compliance and Documentation:

• Advise clients on legal EHS requirements, ensuring they stay up to date with regulatory changes and maintain compliance across their operations.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documentation and reporting for clients, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all submissions.

Client Engagement:

•  Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, understanding client needs, and providing strategic EHS and sustainability advice.
• Participate in client calls, presenting findings, solutions, and updates on EHS projects.

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create comprehensive reports, presentations, and data analyses for clients.
• Deliver high-quality presentations to clients on EHS and sustainability topics, showcasing the consultancy’s value-added services.

Industry Experience:

• Apply experience from working on EHS projects in sectors such as manufacturing, process industries, and other client-focused environments to improve client outcomes.
• Advise clients on best practices based on experience in multiple industries, ensuring effective implementation of safety and sustainability measures.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in EHS.
• Strong understanding of ESG & Sustainability.
