Large Motor Starting Studies
Motor starting analysis enables us to determine motor acceleration time, inrush current, voltage dips and their impact of motor starting on electrical power systems. This study is recommended by IEEE 399 for the motors KW rating equal or greater than 30% connected to supply transformer and 10% connected to generator.
Some of the major results of the Motor Starting Analysis are:-
- Dynamic Motor Acceleration
- Static Motor Starting
- Voltage Dips and their impact of motor starting
